The Quality Assurance (QA) department is seeking a Product Specialist (32-37 hours) to handle the quality assurance of food and feed products, including testing, ensuring documentation, and preparing labeling. QA consists of 23 competent and dedicated product specialists, 18 of whom work with food products. We work closely together cross-functionally in small product-focused teams to ensure fast decisions on quality, design, and the entire supply chain. Close collaboration with our Nordic partners is an important pre-requisite to secure Nordic success with our private brands.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Proactively secure an attractive and harmonized product portfolio including developing product and product description which is competitive in the Nordic Private Brand market.
- Quality assurance of Coop and SOK's portfolio of own brands for the grocery retail sector, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and Coop's own product and quality requirements, primarily products within fresh, frozen and indulgence.
- Prepare labeling text according to applicable legislation.
- Close collaboration with suppliers and our own design department on the final product design.
Your professional qualifications:
- 3-5 years of higher education within food, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience, preferably within quality assurance of food products and food regulations.
- Ability to understand scientific literature, legislation, and certification requirements etc.
- Fluent in written and spoken Danish or another Nordic Language.
- Proficient in English communication.
